"**It's A Wrap Bracelet Kit - Caramel, Khaki, Chocolate & Black"
$ 22.00
Description:
This 8-strand Kongoh Gumi “It’s a Wrap” Bracelet, braided in a waxed cotton cord, is springy, bouncy, resilient and you will learn a few new skills. You will start the bracelet with an “interlaced end” and you will braid around a memory wire core. An interlaced end comes in handy when you want to start with a “finished” end. The waxed cotton is a great fiber for this braid. The cord has a nice hand and by no means feels waxy as the name may imply!
The inner diameter of the corkscrew, un-stretched, is just about 2" and can be stretched to accommodate a variety of wrist sizes. The bracelet, “un-stretched" is about 4 wraps while a bigger wrist may lessen the number of wraps to 3 or so! The kit includes a porcelain pony bead for finishing but you can embellish the end any way that you like.
You will Need: Standard thickness (10mm) Regular 6" disk or Mini disk, 8 Bobbins (you will definitely want to use your bobbins - makes braiding much easier), Measuring Tape, Glue (I like WeldBond) and Scissors.
You Should Know: Kumihimo Round Braid (Kongoh Gumi)
