"16 strand Kongoh Gumi Bracelet with Continuous Pattern and Changing Colors" - Black/Turquoise/Red
$ 15.00
Description:
This 16-strand Kongoh Gumi Bracelet with a Continuous Pattern and Changing Colors is fun to make and the possibilities are endless.
If you take a look at the sample, you will see a pattern that runs the entire length of the braid and one main color that is continuous too. The other two accent colors, turquoise and red, alternate the length of the braid. While one accent color is active, the other rides along in the core.
Two things are assumed for this kit:
1) You must be proficient with the 16 strand Kongoh Gumi braid. It is expected that you can read the "point of braid" and you can identify your "last move" and your "next move".
2)This kit assumes you have already successfully accomplished the color exchange techniques that are detailed in the 14 page Instant Downloadable Tutorial.
You will Need: Kumihimo Foam Disk (I prefer the thick Mini), 16 Bobbins plus one extra, tape measure, scissors , Fray Block to finish ends and Glue to attach magnetic clasp. I use Weld Bond Universal Glue - available at Ace Hardware and some craft stores. It dries in and hour and cures in 24 hours. It also dries clear!
